Daniel Strasser, former CHANEL National Makeup Artist, was first introduced to the dynamic world of cosmetic artistry during his time as an actor in his hometown theatre community. With a new-found appreciation for makeup and its abilities to transform, he began working as the key makeup artist for several theatrical productions. He has also led makeup design for runway shows for several local and regional designers.
After five years with Lancôme as their premier makeup artist, he began his journey with the legendary brand that would change the trajectory of his career and transform his personal and professional life: CHANEL. His creativity and celebrated, unique expression launched Daniel into a Regional Artistry role, traveling and appearing as the featured artist at high profile makeup events with CHANEL.
After five years, CHANEL quickly recognized Daniel as a rising star in the industry. He was invited to become CHANEL’s National Makeup Artist based out of New York City. After making significant artistic impact in this demonstrative role, he was responsible for the collaboration on many new product launches, marketing initiatives & makeup showcases. As the brand’s identified makeup and beauty expert, he traveled the country inspiring women with his unique style, presence, and artistry skills.
With the intent to give back to the same program that first helped launch him into this celebrity, he accepted the Corporate Education Executive position with CHANEL. A natural leader and inspirational guide, he coached, mentored and expanded the expertise and capacity of Beauty Advisors across the U.S. from all major retail brands.
Daniel is thrilled to continue his journey in Louisville. As the new Creative Director at CLIQUE, he is looking forward to sharing his talents with his clients & provide a space for everyone to fulfill all their beauty desires. He curates an inspirational experience for his clients designed to create, evoke and transform. His philosophy is simple: Makeup should be the tool used for the complete exhibition of a woman’s inner strength and unique personality. “I do not make-up… I make ART!”
Daniel’s hope is for his clients to “Realize their Power” & he welcomes everyone who desires to fulfill their own self-expression!
